Can I combine the two?

Hello Seniors and Experts, I'm novice programmer. Please, I want a positive answer/advice on which course should i learn first. I started with python as i want to be an AI engineer, but my friend told to learn web development(HTML,CSS and J.S) first, as its very easy and i will need it must in the future. I want to know if what he said is correct and i can combine the two courses to learn at same time. Thanks in anticipation.

If you have the realistic option to become an AI engineer (if there are jobs for you in your region), you won't really need web dev stuff. If you'll need some web dev skills in order to earn money, he's right. You could join the CSS course in parallel to the HTML course from that point in HTML course, where CSS is mentioned first. JS is important as web dev and of little advantage in order to learn programming in general. Knowing HTML is of very little advantage to have a basic understanding of document annotations (for more advanced like data modeling e.g. based on XML).
