What's one piece of advice that you would want to give to someone just starting out as a Developer?

That's helpful for you to become developer as a best developer.

Try testing your code in different way .This I would say for developers.

1) Develop your keyboard skills. I.e. the ability to touch type and use hotkeys to make your experience smoother and enjoyable. No need spending 3 minutes doing something if it can be done in 30 seconds.
2) master your tools such as your ide, browser, command line and dbms and all their features such as snippets and hotkeys.
3) have an idea you wish to implement once youve acquired the necessary skills to keep you motivated.
4) practice how to do something well before moving on to the next subject.
5) have fun.
