How to host laravel project on free hosting..?

I tried to deploy my laravel project on free hosting(infinityfree.net). As per the instructions i hosted all the files in htdocs folder..i changed all the required things.( like changes in .env file) But after accessing via browser it kept showing me directory listing.. Then i checked for another way..i found- posting public folder in htdocs and other outside htdocs (but this method is not for free hosting). Now i want solution/other way to host laravel project on free hosting..

Free Hosting are worst. Go for paid hosting.

Check their docs. They might be a special folder where you need to put your files. Named *public* or *public_html* or something similar. Asking in their forums will likely yield better results than asking here.

I suggest you go with paid hosting because if you're using free hosting your data is not secured and don't you have the rights to tell anyone why your data is lost and hacked. Paid hosting providers are responsible for your website security, scalability, uptime and performance. Cloudways is one of them they are offering Laravel managed hosting with one-click installation, and if you want to deploy your previous project to their hosting they are offering One migration free with every hosting plan. Here is the link if you want to know more about: https://www.cloudways.com/en/laravel-hosting.php
