Why is Ruby better than Python for apps?

I dont think Ruby is better neither Python I guess both do the same thing except Ruby is a general purpose so you can create apps, web apps, games with it using libraries

there is no real difference other than the name, syntax, and whar software you would need.

In my opinion Ruby is like Python but writing less code. Ruby I see as harder but you write less code.

I think both are very similar. Ruby is a little easier. I like Python's forced indentation.

Thank you everyone for feedback. I want to be a programmer and want to learn multiple languages. I am going python obviously. I was just wondering if ruby is better for apps. I guess they're similar. maybe in the long run ruby would be quicker. I guess python for now.

@Antony Black than I recommend you learn ruby first. less frustration while learning and you can use the easily gained knowledge to learn python
