I tried cloudflare but it didn't work propably because my site is free, guess I have to create a paid site to avoid those problems.

yes you can, ask "Let's Encrypt " it's backed by EFF, Mozilla and other organizations. Google it.

Like others have said you can just use Let's Encrypt. If you want an inexpensive web host and are comfortable managing a Linux VPS, I recommend Digital Ocean or Linode. Digital Ocean starts at $5/month which is really all you need if you only want to host one website. You can scale up as needed as well. Their documentation is also very good. Through a VPS you can install Let's Encrypt and run cerbot to get your free SSL certs.

I think cloudflare provides 1 year free SSL, just look at it, whereas many other service provide for a year free ssl
