I understand this can be risky, should I not be doing this on my main PC? Also, I am curious if you happen to know of any good tutorials for first timers?

All things in this world are risky if you don't know what you are doing
But fortunately you will find tons and tons of video tutorials in YouTube about this topic
Just search the newest ones
And of course, the ones that teach how to do it on your OS

Okay, thanks!

Side note
Look 2 or 3 complete videos first, before you start touching something
Then gather all the necessary programs
And the walk through the video

Alright, will do. I appreciate the advice.

also, if you are on windows, your port 80 (at which your server is running) is most likely blocked by the firewall. so, if it doesn't work, that is where the problem is.

Thanks, I've heard the firewall can be an issue, if I run into problems i'll be sure to make check that the port 80 isn't blocked.

Do I need to edit the local host file to allow access to local server from other devices on network?
