SQL exercises

Hello, Is there a platform where I could solve SQL queries and exercise my knowledge? Something similar to the driving theory tests where you could answer hundreds of question and strengthen your knowledge! I’m coming from a journalism career to the world of Big Data, and I appreciate any tips. Basically, I’m starting from scratch!!! I also wonder how GitHub could be useful at this stage? Or is it more for the advanced?! Thanks,

w3schools.com has some theory with a sandbox database where you can play with your own queries. Github is for storing your projects and sharing them with other developers using Git.
