I've reached that level in HTML as well where I get only 1-16 XP on average for a win, but lose between 16-27 XP on every lost challenge. But yes, you can still hope to get high XPs if you challenge a person with a higher level of learning in that language:)

Not exactly. When you will challange enough people you will get 1 XP per winning and lose 20 XP per defeat. I am on that Level and I can't have more XP in HTML challange.

Yes, you have to challange in every language for gaining XP. If you wanna earn XP from only one or two languages then it is impossible after a level.
