I downloaded turbo c++ but it doesn't work. What should I do

My old compiler I used for C development stopped responding with my new laptop so I downloaded turbo c++ but turbo c++ doesn't work and sometimes creates an infinite loop when I program even I didn't use any loop. It sometimes doesn't responds and deletes my saved C codes automatically. It's unstable and when I click on run or compile it deletes my code automatically. What should I do

Martin Taylor I used code:blocks and a compiler (I forget it's name)in my old laptop. Few days ago I brought a new laptop but code: blocks, compiler weren't responding to my new windows 10 operating system. Then my friend suggested me turbo c++ but it didn't work on my laptop and I don't want to install Ms dos emulator on my laptop what compiler should I use. BTW I have 64 bit of turbo c++.

Tubro c++ is very old but it has some good features that's why many people loves it... It works in my pc... My system architecture is 64bit and os windows 10. I don't know why it didn't work in your pc then go for codeblock or online editor....
