Just started an evening class and the experienced teacher who has worked in many companies now teaches is doing Python. It would be then Java followed by C++.
Day 1: Python - intro to programming
Day 2: Web Applications
So if you want to do Computer based apps python as the code is easier to 'begin with'.
Do html - web apps if you want to make websites.
