Your background won't obstruct your learning process. Java is not hard to get started with. Stop thinking and go for it. SoloLearn's tutorial is a good introduction. Ask here if you are struggling with something. In the meantime remember to use the search option: https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/2200960/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1234487/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/69700/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/201487/?ref=app https://www.sololearn.com/discuss/1034786/?ref=app Welcome to the forum😃

It doesn't matter from which background you are If you have interest in java then don't waste your time and start learning it. Java is not that tough if you have strong problem solving and logical skills Don't memorize anything instead keep focus on it's logic that will help you a lot also keep practice while learning
