Enemy Sector you're asking the wrong question and the point Avalon is trying to make is you're wasting time, that could be used to learn, to ask it. There is no best language. Every language has its advantages and disadvantages that make each one better or worse depending on what you're using it for. If you truly cannot decide which to focus on more then you should figure out what it is you want out of programming. What do you want to accomplish. If you can tell us that then we can give you guidance as to which of the two may be easier to accomplish said goals.

Right now somebody already have chosen the path and goes two lessons ahead of you. You are thinking he study. You waste your time. He goes to his aim. Think what could happen 2-3 years later?

Both are good! C++ little harder to comprehend at the start. Python easier to understand. And ideal for beginners. But that do not means python is weak. It is powerful and has many many libraries for every kind of tasks!
