When did you start learning to code?

Why did you start learning to code? And how did you find it at first? Was it hard, easy, fun? How do you find it now? Do you enjoy it? Thank you.

it is hard to understand at first. it is like learning new foreign language. once i get trouble with the grammar(assignment and semicolon) but i keep trying and master it just as I learn my english. all alone.

technically i started about 25 years ago, back when you had to make custom config.sys and autoexec.bat files to run your games in DOS, but as far as web/program application probably ten years ago building my own site, i like the hands on control it gives you when making your own creations, plus if i have a bug in a program i use i can usually tinker with it myself instead of waiting for someone else to create a fix, really keeps the brain working too :)
