While I was learning Web dev. Someone told we can do everything with just the basic knowledge of HTML editing other's template.

And even told just using Mobile device (no computer).🙄
And of course, he is blogger.
Please, give some reply. I will show your replies to him.
He is one of source of demotivation for me.☹️
And please someone tell him Web Dev is not just a website development.

Yes u can use templates for your website , but having just basic knowledge of html is not sufficient . you need to learn HTML , CSS and then JAVASCRIPT

No, you can not do everything on web with just basic knowledge of HTML. To become successful in web development you must know css, javascript, API and much more new things. As a developer you have to learn continuously.
