Kintu Michael Evans are you referring to Visual Basic (VB.NET) or some other variation of BASIC?

I doubt you'll find a job that requires Q-BASIC but Visual Basic and VBA are still used in the business world. Those aren't the only ones so specifying which BASIC you're learning would help.

Kintu Michael Evans that's not an easy answer without knowing what you're trying to accomplish.

You said you are starting to use BASIC daily. Which BASIC are you using? It is probably safe to assume you are referring to Visual Basic but confirmation would be helpful.

If you are using Visual Basic (I'm referring to .NET, not VB6 as it is no longer supported) then you can use it for pretty much anything you could with C#. Its use is pretty general and can be used for things like applications, website backend, etc.
