How to start a programming project ?

I've done HTML5 and 99% of JS and in CSS i'm half way through , i wanted to start a project to improve my performance in starting and finishing a project successfully ,
I'll be grateful if you give me some useful sources for my project .
I'm asking this question here because using other people's experience is always better than google search .

I think you should go for creating a web development or programming blog website in HTML5, CSS and JS. It will help beginners and it also will improve your performance.

First of all he is a begginer in Web development as he says HTML5 100% JS 99% CSS 50%, So he wants to upgrade his skills with starting a project. So gave him answer of the 2 point. You gave him answer to "How to know if you have completed a project". I don't think that your answer is of "How to start a programming project". Second of all I think anybody suggested him to copy others project 🤔.
