WORDPRESS vs STATIC SITE
does it even to compare the performance of single page application let's say Gatsby to php's wordpress? how do you guys think? Does there any possibility that one day people would leave wordpress?

There are some materials on the Internet on this topic. Of course, static websites are fast, but it's not the main reason to choose them over WordPress. The choice depends on your project requirements.
Gatsby highly depends on 3rd party APIs. Which can be a good or a bad thing.
If you need a custom logic for your website, it is hard to avoid using your own server. Cloud function are great, but they can be slower compared to your own server.
Let's say, you want a comments section for your website. But existing options doesn't meet your requirements. So, the only way is to implement it yourself.
From my point of view, there are drawbacks behind every technology.
There will always be a trade-off.
