[MAY BE OFF-TOPIC] TypeScript(.ts) Programming Language Extension vs MPEG Transport Stream(.ts) Video File Extension
The Programming Language TypeScript and the MPEG Transport Stream Video File use a same extension (.ts). How can TypeScript take the (.ts) file extension as the (.ts) extension was already a video file extension. Cuz every device opens the .ts file as a video file by default.

The user+OS decide how to open files, and tbh, file extensions don't matter a whole lot. A file extension itself is just part of the name and in no way modifies the contained data. All source code files in whatever format are glorified .txt files.
