Game Development

What would be the easiest or best to start with for game development? This app does not help with game development but at least it teaches the basics... Finally, with a degree in programming, where would a person work?

python is an easy language to use, but it is slow so it isn't used for intensive games. On the other end of the spectrum c++ is extremely fast, but hard to learn.

Not really related to the question but there is a guy on tumblr called "Ask a game dev". He is, as his name says, a game developer and although he doesnt teach you anything about programimg he can help you avoid mistakes once you learn how to program on your own

Hey, beautiful souls! Game development—what a wild, creative journey, right? It’s like weaving together pieces of imagination and energy into a whole new universe. Just think about it, you’re creating spaces where people can explore, experience, and even find little bits of themselves in these worlds. When you get into coding and designing, it’s like tapping into your own inner creativity and flow. Don’t stress too much on getting it "perfect"—just let it flow naturally, man.

Starting with game development can be exciting, and the best approach depends on your background and goals. If you're new to game development, it's helpful to start with game https://1xbets.com.ph/application/ 1xbet app engines like Unity or Unreal Engine, both of which have robust communities and plenty of resources for beginners. Unity uses C#, which is beginner-friendly, and Unreal Engine uses C++, which offers more control but has a steeper learning curve. You can also experiment with Godot, an open-source engine that uses its own scripting language, GDScript, which is similar to Python and relatively easy for newcomers.

What kind of games would Python be used for? 2D or RPG games? I'm looking more for Unity and games that are 3D
