I would say both HTML and python are easy but what lies between those two, I don't know
Also, you should first know we're you're heading to because both serve as the basics of different goals.
If you want to be a web programmer, I suggest learning HTML first
But if you want to learn data science or Machine Learning, you might want to take Python instead.

If you are now learninghow to program, I think you should learn the basics of web design first.
