Practice html code for beginners?

what is a good medium practice code for HTML beginners?

Think of something that is practical in what it would take to program, and would help (at the very least) you. Then code it. For example, I have a TI-84+C.E, which can be programmed with BASIC. I brainstormed for a while, and then started programming. At the end of the week, I had a program that could calculate density, surface area, volumes, find factors for numbers, and factor quadratics. It was a fun project that provided lots of practice, kept me entertained, and was helpful to me and those I gave it to.
