Are poor math skills a problem?

I would like to to start learning code, but math is not my strong suit. Do you need to be great at math to be a successful coder? I ask because my first major in college was computer engineering and I failed miserably because of the advanced math concepts. I did love playing with q basic as a kid, though. (think I just dated myself a little lol)

no you don't need to. just clear the basic concepts. i am also not good at math... you just need to develop simple logic thats it. programming all about simplicity nothing else

Being good at math definitely helps... programming is all about designing algorithms and making complex things simpler...there is a reason why people say "mathematics is the mother of all sciences"... :-)
