@Heng: sorting is just the very beginning. There are plenty of algorithms, start with this book for example: http://www.pdfdrive.com/introduction-to-algorithms-third-edition-e2031293.html https://www.amazon.com/Introduction-Algorithms-3rd-MIT-Press/dp/0262033844 1312 pages :)

If your plans are really so ambitious, please don't think that mastering any programming languages are enough. Start learning algorithms, networking and other computing theories.

@Tamás Barta Thank you very much! Will take time to study! When you think you are finally on the starting line, it turns out that you still haven't join the competition. Emo😂

And it is still nothing. There is no image or audio processing or ai algorithms for example in this book. It is just the start line as you wrote :) https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_algorithms Who knows which of these will be needed in a Google interview. How would you solve this problem: ...

GO? :) I don't think Google mind which language do you know. They want to know how smart you are and if you can solve difficult algorithmic problems. It is language independent. A programming language is just a tool you use, if you are clever enough you can learn and use any language you need for job.

@TamĂĄs Barta What do you mean by learning algorithm? Does it means something like sorting algorithm (quick, bubble, selection, etc)? May you give me some example of it? I would like to learn it.

Java, may be Google's own Language Go Language. You may be also need to learn other language like Ruby etc.

If you wanna work in Google, you don't need to know many languages, rather, you have to know one or two languages very well. First of all I would suggest Python. Python is a must if you wanna get a job at Google. Then you have to know Algorithms and Data Structures. Knowing a language, while you don't know Data Structures is pointless. As a second language, C++ is the best. I'd suggest take a look at Google's jobs section in their website.
