As a beginner I would say that Servicenow allows you to use Its platform with no experience in coding! however It seems that a knowledge of Javascript is reccommended !

Hi Andrea,

I am a servicenow administrator and am here to pickup some more skills in JS. For you to take advantage of the platform you need JS knowledge. I can read code and modify it a bit but I want to learn to write from the beginning. This will open more opportunities for me.

besides keep in mind that JS used in ServiceNow platform is a bit different from the usual JS. I suggest you , as I did, to study the fundamentals of JS and then yo move to JS on ServiceNow

Thanks for your thoughts. I was planning on learning what I can here and then after some time do the Servicenow developer course. I have completed the admin and advanced admin courses so want to move into the development side of the application.
