Learning multiple languages at the same time

Hello, I'm currently learning Python, but I'm in real temptation to start learning Kotlin. So what do you think of learning multiple languages at the same time? And what about learning Python and Kotlin at the same time?

Jakub HorĂĄk I tried learning Python and JavaScript at the same time actually but I found it so hard. Never learn Python and JavaScript at the same time. It's stressful. Back to your question tho, I don't really know anything about Kotlin but I would say to finish learning Python first however if you are comfortable you could learn Kotlin and Python at the same time.

I guess starting two languages at once will make it more difficult if you are a beginner in programming in general. The very basic concepts are always the same, to learn them better stick to one language. If you are past the basics and did some exercises there is no reason not to pick up other languages as you like. If it doesn't work you can always stop and eventually come back later

It's totally fine, but I'd suggest you to focus on the language u like.

Your bio hints that you are beginner. As a beginner, it is important to learn only one language first. That way you can focus on the general programming concepts: loops, conditionals e.t.c. instead of being distracted by the differences between languages. As your skills improve, you will eventually get comfortable with learning several technologies simultaneously.
