Advantages to use bootstrap vs pure css

Question

I am designing a web site like a gallery and I created it only with bootstrap but I have know that it's better use pure css to increase my frot-end skills. What do you advise me ?

Q in the title is totally different from Q in description.
There are two Q.
1. speed. If you focus on back rather than front bootstrap is ready to use solution. No need to workaround.
2.in case you focus on front-end rather than back-end, then pure css knowledges is must have. also stick to one main ways like vue, react or angular.
