Need your advice about AI

Question

Hi, I have a task to make a character recognition from the picture using the example of electricity meters. I need to use openCV on c++ and neural networks. Can you advice some courses or good videos on youtube to help me receive neccesary knowledge to cope with it, because now I know almost nothing about neural networks and a little about openCV. I don't need to know these things well, but I need a brief theoretical minimum to make this work. So, if you have some materials, please share with me, I will be glad to see any advices.
