Hey pal,
Frameworks and libraries are both codes wirtten by someone else that help you perform some common tasks in a less verbose way.
React is a library. And it is a module that you call from your code, and a framework is a module which calls your code.

In both,
On a higher level, abstraction can be for example functions that standardize certain processes or classes which create structures for the data.
In React abstractions are done by using composition. Higher-level components combine standardized lower-level components to be part of the user interface together.
