Also, why in the world did this question that has been asked many times before and can be answered with a simple google search get 5 upvotes? I have a suspision that the upvotes are from accounts of a single person, but I might be wrong. Melu are those your accounts?

Web designing is design like template, styles which has no database, whereas Web development stores and retrieves data and has database.

See, Designing means to design the frontend of the webpage. In Designing you design the look of website like fonts, colors, flexboxes, size, shapes and more. But in the development side you make the function of the page like the functions of the buttons, box and the back process of the page . Basically development means the backend (javascript, php, jquery,node) and designing means frontend (html, css).
