How long should i dedicate in learning c++ and what can you program with it??

As much as you can. Give it your best.
Get a good foundation. After understanding the basics you are good to go. Learning any other programming language will be smooth. Real world app are built with advance features of programming language but to get there you need to be good at the basics of that language.

If C++ is your first programming language my advice is to give it your best because as you code you will come to know a lot of programming language and why they are good for a particular task. So if another programming language will be best for what you want you will need to learn that language and since your foundation on c++ is strong it will be smooth learning another language.
