The <div> element is a block-level element: which means it is used as a container for other HTML elements; e.g. You can put tables, paragraphs, spans, images, etc inside the <div> tag.

Div tag is just like a box or container you can store anything inside the div tag you can store inside the div tag table, other div, body content, footer etc.
