How does the repeating-linear-gradient and repeating-radial-gradient work?

I am not understanding how these two function work.Can anyone explain it better?
Also how the code below's two div have same gradient-background ?

Genuine Stalwart ,Yeah I did it .But the pearmeter is different.One is:
Blue 25%, skyblue 50%
another is:
Blue , skyblue 25%
Even having two different parameter how the background is same for those two div🤔?
Sorry this might be stupid question for you ,as I don't know much about the using of repeating-linear-gradient .
