You will need a programming language to participate and solve code coach problems.

HTML and CSS are mainly for structuring and styling web pages. So you won't be able to solve problems because code coach problems are mainly logic based type of problems where you will need some variables, arithmetic operations, loops, simple data structures etc and that you'll find in only a programming language.

heres my recommendation, go with Python it's a bit easy to learn.
