Hey i want to make an pc application which can take input from Gps Rs 422 data and can give output of heading and speed.

Question

$GPBOD - Bearing, origin to destination
$GPBWC - Bearing and distance to waypoint, great circle
$GPGGA - Global Positioning System Fix Data
$GPGLL - Geographic position, latitude / longitude
$GPGSA - GPS DOP and active satellites
$GPGSV - GPS Satellites in view
$GPHDT - Heading, True
$GPR00 - List of waypoints in currently active route
$GPRMA - Recommended minimum specific Loran-C data
$GPRMB - Recommended minimum navigation info
$GPRMC - Recommended minimum specific GPS/Transit data
$GPRTE - Routes
$GPTRF - Transit Fix Data
$GPSTN - Multiple Data ID
$GPVBW - Dual Ground / Water Speed
$GPVTG - Track made good and ground speed
$GPWPL - Waypoint location
$GPXTE - Cross-track error, Measured
$GPZDA - Date & Time

Hey! I am already using this type of app but i have got installed it from third person and i don't have backup of this.

I am using it through DB9 connector
I have connected gps output to pc db9 input on pin 2 and 5.
And this apo extract the what i need and show on display.

We can use Rs 232 to Rs 422 convertor to convert data.
Which langauge will be required to make such applications that can extract the data from the string which we want to display.
