Please i wish to know how significant JavaScript is in our modern world?

JavaScript is by far the most widely used language as per stackoverflow survey. Its ever growing and will be hard to replace.
I guess it's the only language which browsers understand and we can write code which we can run on browsers. No other language until now (IMO) can do this I guess.
So it's a very powerful language by which you can write front-end backend applications. You can do problem solving questions via JS and lot more.
