i dont think so, it requires more than just a button or connection between services.

Im learning git and github too at the moment, but it's definitely better to use the terminal to get acquainted with the commands and workflow.

I havent tried what u want, but im pretty sure u can do that since ive seen many buttons in the web, again im new to git and github cant give more details srry.
