I have a question regarding to operating system for development.

Question

Actully am working on android applications development but my laptop has 8gb of ram and while working on android studio my lappy is lagging becz i dont have good hardware configurations i have also installed some other softwares pycharms dreamweavers......... so am thinking about to switch in linux operating system is it right to go with linux becz i linux required specifications are less then windows . And in linux my software will be work fine. If yes then which os should i use ubuntu ,fedora , Parrot os and will i get solutions on internet while facing issues in development becz i dont think in parrot os or kali much more tutorials are available becz mostly turorials are available on windows or ubuntu.

Kali and parrot are mostly used for hacking etc..
I'd suggest to go for the basic, Ubuntu.

I'm using Linux and Windows for many years.

Linux is great. But their are many distributions. There are distributions which are heavy such as Ubuntu, Kali, parrot and mint etc.

And there are lighter distributions like puppy, slax etc.

But I have noticed that Windows OS are highly optimized and has best performance among all Linux distributions which I have used. For me, Windows has the best performance.
