why doesn't my background show up on my website??

here is my CSS code and the background doesn't come up WHY?? please help

background-image: url("/Users/myname/downloads/spirited.png");
}

Sololearn doesn't have access to your file system. You need to get the image from internet or by storing it in a cloud storage and getting link for it .

If you are not talking about sololearn then check again if the path to image is right and whatever program you are using to code allows you to deal with files.
