Hi guys...am stuck with the following question "what is the best editor for html code?"..

Any. It's just text (both in browser and in development), Notepad would almost be more than enough for it.

Notepad++ is an upgrade.

Visual Studio and IntelliJ both have HTML support as well if you want to work with C/C++/C#, or Java, respectively.
