Pseudo element(css) is not working. Error explained in description. Please let me know.

Question

When I use content=' '; in pseudo element, it's not working. When I put content='xxxx'; it's showing in the display.

I triend my best I can. I check the code, it's perfect. But I don't know what's the problem is. If anybody knows. Please comment below. I will try it and tell you the result.

Try to give some height and width
And position:absolute ;

I used that code in that website (just copy&paste). It's little bit working but, the opacity affects the text.😕
