The actual problem is with overflow.
you cant apply element.scrollLeft += xyz
for element with overflow : hidden
Since thera a lot of elements i am unable to visualize the Dom tree probably need dev tools to visualize ..

Your mistake was that you were applying .scrollLeft to wrong element ..

Storybox>horrorbox>sliderbox>leftbtn+rightbtn+slidebox>innerbox>hsl(slides)>imgbox+story

and the problem is that inspite of using onclick function the scrolling is not taking place don't know why
