What to do abour discrete math?

Im in my 2nd semester of BS CS. We're studying java... but the real problem I'm facing is the course of discrete mathematics. What do I do about it? I am not able to understand anything in it.

Try to join other students to learn together. SoloLearn doesn't provide a course on discrete mathematics ^^ Maybe there are ppl who can help you here, but then you need to describe what your concrete problem is.

@nextco: Forgetting math you know - especially algebra - is probably not the right thing. For example if you talk about isomorphism groups of graphs, it is necessary to know group theory, which is algebra.

The best advice I can give you, is to ask yourself (and if necessary others) very concrete and well formulated questions. Work through the definition, theorem or proof you try to understand step by step. Be really precise in your language and thinking. If you get stuck, think about it a little longer. If you struggle, think of a question, which would clear up the confusion when answered. You should be able to answer it yourself most of the time and if not there still are other people around.

For discrete structure ,mainly number theory , set-theory, graph theory and game theory are required .some useful books are- Deo_Graph-Theory.pdf Rosen_Discrete-Mathematics.pdf Harary_Graph-Theory.pdf don't just see the name and think that its impossible start and u will have fun..
