Is the coding compatible with html for Wordpress?

I tried adding some work which was coded using solo learn and pasted it to WordPress back to the output was not good and most of the designs had disappeared and the other outlook was not good OK just help me and assist me tell me what is wrong why isn’t it out putting the correct thing does wordpress use only HTML or also use some JavaScript OK thank you I’m grateful to anyone who you can answer me?
