Java usage inside games

do games that use java e.g Minecraft and have their own codes inside the game, is that java?

Few games use Java. I've seen people use it with OpenGL and Vulcan for 3D games.

Yes, Minecraft was designed using pure Java. It's not the go to language, C++ is, for games, but you can make games with it nonetheless.
