No languages will become outdated but new languages like HTML6 can come in a course of time, new syntaxes will be there but still we can use the current syntax with the corresponding version like HTML public declaration or doctype html declaration

You are correct it will become outdated compared to new languages. But some languages maintained company have huge money to invest and develop the new features for the language, some NPO maintain the languages, some companies use the language and they maintain the language because they use it and so on.. So choose your language wisely. For e.g. C# it is developed by Microsoft so they will keep update the language and add new features so it won't be outdated in the future as well. Java it is now owned by Oracle and many developers use it. So it has future. C, is now maintained by organization but majority of languages are using C compilers so it won't be outdated too. Python is used extensively by Google so they fund for the language. Javascript is from Mozilla so... And so on. Learn the language and technology which has big funding and developers, supporter and communities.
