How to understand a Datatype easily?

the op has joined sololearn just 1 hour ago, and has done 4 % of a tutorial.

at this point i can understand that data types can be confusing.

my recommendation: continue reading, learning and practicing. it will take some time, but after a while you will understand these things. don't try to learn everything at the same time.

I had trouble understanding data types when I first joined Sololearn.

It is important to learn that computers don't think like people, and that if you want to learn to code, then you must think like a computer.

But I agree the OP could give us a bit more detail
