Learning unity

Hi have been failing to grasp the concepts of unity .I have been following tutorials and it goes well but when I do it myself, I always get errors and it really frustrating .How can I get better at unity?

use CopperCube as Unity is vast. so it becomes overwhelming to learn that engine.
