Which book will you recommend me for learning C++ from basic to advanced?

I am entering college, which book will be best for me in four years of my graduation which can teach me c++ programming from basic to advanced. And also cover the requirements of placements.

Generally along with collage syllabus, they also provide the books you can use to refer through the course.

If not then there are a lot of books you can use to learn the language.

I have heard that "Programming -- Principles and Practice using C++" is good if you are new to programming, or " A tour of C++" if you are comming from a different language background. ( Both are written by Bjarne Stroustrup himself )

You can start with "let us c++" by yashwant kanetkar. but along with you can watch YouTube video which helps you to understand it in more better way.
