Message to everyone (What language(s) to learn?)

Question

For people who are asking: Please, when asking what language should you learn first, also indicate what you want to do wih programming.

For people who are answering: Please, dont directly give an answer w/o knowing what they want to learn programming for.
[Ex. What is the point of learning HTML, CSS, JS if you just want to make a large scaled game?]

Please, dont tell someone to learn a language that have no use to them, even the language they want to learn is hard to start off with.

Agreed. A lot of times though, the problem with is that people may not know what they want to do with programming themselves. Perhaps we should have also gave them a brief intro regarding what they can do with different languages (?).
