Brainteasers / Logic Problems

Question

The ability to answer clever questions hasn't​ necessarily correlated well with being a good programmer (programming does that)... still...

...puzzling out a good logic problem seems to weigh in for keeping the brain interested and agile.

I did a quick search and it doesn't seem popular in Q&A, though codes pull in more hits. Is there any utility to brainteasers here? What about assigning code categories?

My pronoun usage may not be very helpful. The main question is...does anyone care about puzzles? Google used to want candidates who could answer trick questions but that wasn't​ a good performance indicator. Yet...people are pattern-finders, and entire sections at StackExchange (which is for computer engineers + etc) are devoted to puzzles.

If Q&A isn't the place, then marking codes as puzzles (mostly of the 'logic game' variety) might be nice...but we can't categorize our codes--and again, I see little proof it has value (here; to categorize). I guess I could post a brainteaser and see if anyone bites.
